On October 19, 2015, The Kidney Society of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Inc. officially launched its first major fundraising event by way of a press conference held at the NIS Training Room which hosted various members of the local media in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). The event is a benefit concert with a blend musical voices of gospel in an effort to carry out our mandate of raising funds to assist the many persons who are afflicted with kidney disease at various stages in SVG.
Mr. Jerry George, Member of the Board of The Kidney Society of SVG, along with the organization’s Administrator, Mrs. Francine DeYoung, as well as Mr. Fidel Taylor, Chair of the Event Planning Committee and Miss Ayana Findlay, a kidney patient, were on hand to take questions, provide information on the event, share experiences and encourage both businesses and individuals alike to support this event where all funds raised will provided much needed assistance to persons fighting with kidney disease in maintaining their treatment regiment which is a costly endeavour.
The concert will be taking place on November 15, 2015 from 6 pm to 9pm at the Russell Auditorium in Stoney Ground, Kingstown.
We encourage the public at large to come out and support the efforts of Kidney Society of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Inc. and to make a difference in the lives of those afflicted with kidney disease.
