Sound Blast Entertainment Donates to The Kidney Society of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Inc.

The Kidney Society of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Inc. would like to extend its gratitude to Mr. Barry DeFreitas and his team at Sound Blast Entertainment for its monetary contribution to the plight of persons battling kidney disease in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

These funds were raised from the recent All Black Affair held at the Sion Hill Playing Field Hard Court.

In the spirit of transparency, the organization would like to release its financial report on all contributions received and funds disbursed for any expenses.

The Kidney Society of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Inc. would like to extend its gratitude to Mr. Kenton Chance and his team at I-Witness News (www.iwnsvg.com) for its monetary contribution to the plight of persons battling kidney disease in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

Once again, we must advise that Mr. Chance did not want any publicity for this donation when delivering it to Mrs. Francine DeYoung, Administrator but the organization felt it necessary to recognize such generosity.

Announcement – New Date of Kidney Society Benefit Concert in SVG

We wish to advise the general public that the benefit concert, “What A Little Love Can Do”, will take place on Sunday, March 20, 2016.

We thank everyone for their support and look forward to even more support from persons in SVG and the diaspora as the event is anticipated to be top class.

The Kidney Society of SVG Launches Fundraising Event – What A Little Love Can Do!

On October 19, 2015, The Kidney Society of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Inc. officially launched its first major fundraising event by way of a press conference held at the NIS Training Room which hosted various members of the local media in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). The event is a benefit concert with a blend musical voices of gospel in an effort to carry out our mandate of raising funds to assist the many persons who are afflicted with kidney disease at various stages in SVG.

Mr. Jerry George, Member of the Board of The Kidney Society of SVG,  along with the organization’s Administrator, Mrs. Francine DeYoung, as well as Mr. Fidel Taylor, Chair of the Event Planning Committee and Miss Ayana Findlay, a kidney patient, were on hand to take questions, provide information on the event, share experiences and encourage both businesses and individuals alike to support this event where all funds raised will provided much needed assistance to persons fighting with kidney disease in maintaining their treatment regiment which is a costly endeavour.

 

The concert will be taking place on November 15, 2015 from 6 pm to 9pm at the Russell Auditorium in Stoney Ground, Kingstown.

 

We encourage the public at large to come out and support the efforts of Kidney Society of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Inc. and to make a difference in the lives of those afflicted with kidney disease.
